A Little Piece of Paradise
Having just spent a very relaxing and enjoyable 2 weeks in Valencia at the El Oasis resort I would highly recommend this for anyone visiting the Valencia area in particular large families.

During our stay we were able to relax in the beautiful surroundings and even though we were told the other villlas were occupied we often had the pool completely to ourselves. The staff were very attentive and both the managers spoke English (in fact one is English) and they quickly dealt with the few problems we had during our stay.

El Oasis resort is a collection of 8 villas set out in large and beautiful grounds with large pine and palm trees. Each villa has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathroooms, lounge, kitchen and two terraces. There is air conditioning in the lounge. The 8 villa share 2 swimming pools, small gym/sauna and a tennis court.

Our villa (No 4) was set near the large pool, which was very convenient but was close to the road that runs along one side of the resort. The noise was noticeable when sitting on the terrace or by the pool but not inside the villa. The villa is very large and spacious with 2 double rooms, one twin and one single. The bathrooms were recently exteneded and modernised and very nice although I believe this not yet true of all villas. The beds were very clean an comfortable with new sheets and towels provided every week. Some of the fittings in the bedroom and kitchen had 'seen better days' with some broken handles on drawers and the oven lacked a tray for the grill.

The main pool is large and very deep approx 1.2m (4 feet) at the shallow end. There is also a second smaller pool that is also a spa pool. There is a large tampoline in a shaded area and equipment for table tennnis, tennis and badminton are provided free of charge. There is also a small gym and sauna but I never used it.

Just outside the gates of the resort is a large supermarket (closed Sundays) and petrol station, and 5 minutes walk into the local village there are bakers, newsagent, restuarants and cafes. A bus into Valencia leaves from just outside the resort but the service is not frequent. The nearest station for the Valencia metro system is about 3km away. By car it took us 20 mins to get to the very centre of Valencia.

Overal this was a fanastic and very relaxing place to stay. Good facilities and plenty of space for the kids to run around.

Loved this quiet place near the city
I ordered 6 days stay over their homepages, and my group had 4 of the villas. We were very happy with everything. The place is very clean, from the bathrooms to the outdoor areas. Both adults and all the kids loved the place.

They got two pools, tennis court and a big variety of table games.

There is a big supermarked just 200 meters away, and the busstop for Valencia is just outside and brings you to Valencia in twenty minutes for 1,4 Euros.

I will recommed this place to everybody looking for a quit place just nect to Valencia, and your kids will love all the activities.

Sarah and Pierre who runs the place did go that extra mile to make it a memorable stay.
I will be back for sure inext time I visit this lovely part of Spain.
